Disabled Veteran Losing Friends to Suicide "I don't have to deal with your shit today." How many suicides has Seamar caused? We'll never know, those people aren't around to call anymore.

By far the worst place I’ve ever experienced. Moved here from out of state and needed immediate care for my mental health. I’ve been diagnosed with bipolar since I was 11 years old (I am now 31). After waiting months to finally be seen, I was placed with a very very young and inexperienced therapist, I went through my background and family background and all she could say was I have depression, nothing else. She also requested we start immediately diving into my history of SA and when I told her bringing up a long history of abuse would be destructive and unhealthy for someone like me she replied with if I don’t agree to treatment plans then I can’t be seen there anymore. I thought this was insane and genuinely awful so I immediately requested a new counselor only to find out they have 3 other options and they are also all brand new and in their early 20’s. If you’re an adult, don’t go here. The only person left working in this location that’s actually helpful and experience is for adolescence/children. On another note the front desk experience is a nightmare and a joke. A few weeks go they left the doors locked for some unknown reason and had to call 3 times before they’d answer

- Had issues with the case manager calling me back and scheduling appointments. Had to tell the front desk multiple times that no one was answering or returning my calls. They had to get ahold of her directly to have her accept my calls, after trying to get a hold of her for a week. Was told that she had been calling me back, but I had no missed calls or voicemails during that time. (I was thankful that I wasn't in any rush/crisis) - Was informed only after canceling my group session, that the appointment was mandatory to continue any treatment. I was informed by other counselors at SeaMar that this was not mandatory for any existing clients. - When I followed up and asked why this was mandatory, they never answered me and only left me a voicemail saying that they were sorry that they weren't clear about the group session being mandatory to continue treatment. - I was trying to use the online portal to communicate, since I had many issues with trying to contact them directly, no one was replying to my messages in the portal, but they would call and leave voicemails a few days after I sent my messages. - After all this, the case manager canceled my intake appointment with my cou

Awesome nurse, Rose handles every issue I've had from the start! Great MD, Dr.Boustead responds quickly and cares about his patients. Dr.Boustead has been my primary care physician for over a year or more, always caring and professional, Everyone in office is friendly and helpful, no judgement for issues. Love this office and all seamar offices, been a pt for a while and extremely happy with all services.

I had to run from a domestic situation from Bellevue to Bellingham and they transferred my records and services flawlessly. I really only chose Bellingham because they had another Sea Mar, and I made the right choice. They help.
